50 Muslim Paling Berpengaruh 2009
The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre telah menerbitkan satu laporan yang menyenaraikan 500 muslim yang paling berpengaruh pada tahun 2009. Ia merupakan terbitan pertama yang kemungkinan akan dijadikan terbitan tahunan bertujuan mengenengahkan nama-nama individu dan kumpulan yang telah banyak mempengaruhi dunia ummat ISLAM.
Tahniah buat yang tersenarai. Ada sebahagiannya perlu kita contohi sumbangan-sumbangan mereka. Ada sebahagiannya pula, memberikan kita ‘lampu isyarat’ bahawa kita perlu lebih bekerja keras.
Terdapat beberapa nama yang telah disenaraikan sebagai berpengaruh di dunia ummat ISLAM, namun hakikatnya sebahagian nama-nama ini tidak membawa ajaran yang berlandaskan ISLAM yang sebenar. Mereka yang membawa mesej-mesej yang lari dari kebenaran ISLAM ini telah diiktiraf sebagai memberi pengaruh yang besar di dalam dunia ummat ISLAM. Dengan terterbitnya laporan ini, semoga ia membuatkan kita muhasabah banyak manakah yang telah kita perbuat berbanding orang lain? Dan menyuntik semangat buat kita semua untuk berlumba-lumba membuat kebaikan dan membawa mesej dari al-Quran dan as-Sunnah.
Berikut adalah senarai 50 orang muslim yang paling berpengaruh pada tahun 2009. Turut tersenarai adalah Mursyidul Am Parti Islam SeMalaysia, Tuan Guru Nik Abdul Aziz bin Nik Mat yang menduduki tempat ke-42 daripada senarai tersebut
